Le groupe de Metal Progressif américain Periphery a terminé son nouvel album studio.
Sotelo a écrit : “J’écoute le master final de P5 en ce moment et je suis vraiment très content ! Ce fut un long voyage et beaucoup de travail, mais je crois que je n’ai jamais été aussi satisfait d’un projet musical auquel j’ai participé.”
Le guitariste Misha Mansoor est alors intervenu en plaisantant : “Periphery V est comme Periphery IV, ce sont toutes les mêmes chansons. C’était trop dur de faire un nouvel album, on a juste repris les mêmes chansons. Reptile est un banger.”
Ce à quoi Sotelo a répondu : “Je confirme. Nous avons fait du bon recyclage.”
Maintenant que Periphery est un groupe totalement indépendant avec son propre label, 3DOT Recordings, le disque pourrait sortir d’ici peu. Alors gardez l’œil ouvert !
Le dernier album de Periphery, intitulé Periphery IV : Hail Stan, est sorti le 5 avril 2019 via 3DOT Recordings.
