Comme prévu, le groupe de Hard Rock suédois The Night Flight Orchestra vient de faire paraître son nouveau single intitulé Satellite. La chanson est accompagnée d’un clip vidéo officiel, et les membres du groupe se sont exprimés à propos du thème de la chanson.
Satellite est une métaphore du désir impossible à satisfaire. Le groupe utilise l’image du satellite pour illustrer la sensation d’être bloqué à jamais, au loin, en orbite autour de l’objet de notre affection, ne pouvant jamais l’atteindre.
“Sometimes, no matter how many years or how many miles you have between yourself and the one you truly desire, love leaves a mark that can’t be erased. Your need is etched in your soul, in the actual muscle fibers that keeps your heart beating. And so, you become a satellite, forever stuck in orbit around the object of your affection, watching from afar, but never being able to fulfill your dreams.”
Pour rappel, The Night Flight Orchestra est un groupe de Hard Rock suédois fondé en 2007 à Helsingborg. Le projet musical contient des membres d’Arch Enemy et de Soilwork.
The Night Flight Orchestra travaille actuellement sur un nouvel album, dont la sortie est envisagée pour 2020.
