Stream N’ Destroy est une newsletter qui présente toutes ces choses et bien plus encore. Compilée par le journaliste et manager Ryan J. Downey, Stream N’ Destroy, qui est publiée deux fois par semaine, a rapidement gagné en popularité ces derniers mois.
En utilisant les infos de Stream N’ Destroy, nous nous sommes penchés sur le classement des 100 meilleurs albums de Metal d’Apple Music pour la semaine se terminant le 3 décembre 2020. Le classement de cette semaine, comme celui de chaque semaine, illustre la façon dont une petite poignée de groupes dominent le marché à un moment donné.
Seulement quatre groupes dominent un énorme 43% du Top 100, et ce sont les candidats habituels : Metallica (17 albums), Slipknot (8), Tool (5) et Five Finger Death Punch (13) qui fait également des scores très impressionnants (à noter que tous les groupes ci-dessus, à l’exception de Tool, ont l’avantage d’avoir plusieurs versions du même album dans le hit-parade).
